Natural stone is one of the most beautiful surfaces for any home or office, however, it can easily scratch in high foot traffic areas. A regular maintenance program is vital if your surface is to retain its original beauty. Special care is required when cleaning most surfaces.

You should generally only use warm water and a mild detergent on floors. Never use vinegar. The acid in vinegar damages, actually etches and removes the surface of some stone types. After mopping, dry the floor with a cotton towel or use a sh-mop to remove the moisture and prevent water spots.

Indoor and outdoor areas, polished, honed, matt finish, porous, pre-sealed, wherever you have tiles we have a restoration solution. External tiles, natural stone paver's and tiles, bathroom tiles on floors and walls. Tile Cleaners® cater for each and every different type of surface you might have.

Honing and polishing produce fairly opposite results. Polishing produces a smooth reflective finish while honing produces a more matte finish.

This will depend on the size of the area; larger jobs can require up to 3 days to polish while polishing a bench-top can take up to half a day. Tile Cleaners® do try to ensure work is completed within the same day to avoid as much disruption to your home or business as possible.

Yes, the mechanical resurfacing process used to polish your floors will remove all coatings, resulting in your floors being in an "as new" condition. Once honed, you should reseal your surfaces with a deep penetrating, impregnating sealer, which avoids staining and will reduce the effect of soiling.

Most of our procedures use water in order to minimise dust production. Polishing can create a slurry, however by employing state-of-the-art equipment and our years of expertise, once finished your surfaces will be left in their best possible condition.

Tile Cleaners® charge per square meter for each separate room. There is a price list on the Tile Cleaners® website for you to review. Before we begin our work we will measure each room individually, confirm the work to be carried out as well as confirm all costs with you.

We recommend that you measure each room separately. The simplest way to measure is by multiplying the width by the length. For example a room that is 3 meters long and 2 meters wide is 3 X 2 = 6m2 in total.

Tile Cleaning provides assistance with moving furniture during the floor sealing process. Their team of dedicated technicians is available to help with the relocation of furniture items that can be reasonably managed by one person, such as those with wheels or lightweight furniture like tables and chairs. However, it is important to keep in mind that while Tile Cleaning takes precautions to protect your belongings, they cannot be held responsible for any damages that may occur during the furniture moving process. To ensure the safety of valuable or fragile items, it is recommended to either relocate them to a secure area or properly secure them before the technicians arrive.
