Grout can be lightened, darkened, or changed to a completely new colour to give a room a completely fresh new look. Yes you can and it is recommended to seal your grout lines especially if they are a light colour, this will save you the likely cost of having to regrout your tiles only a few years after installation.

Sealing is not a waterproofing solution. If you are experiencing waterproofing issues, such as leaks on balconies, simply sealing the grout will not solve the problem. In such cases, a more comprehensive solution like regrouting may be necessary.

If you are seeking a different aesthetic for your floors, you may consider color sealing as an option. Altering the color of the grout can provide a contemporary appearance without the need for extensive tile replacement. It is advisable to measure each grout area individually. The measurement can be done by multiplying the width of the area by its length. For instance, if a room has a length of 3 meters and a width of 2 meters, the total area would be calculated as 3 meters multiplied by 2 meters, resulting in 6 square meters in total.
